I have the Toshiba Satellite L675. I just purchased the Harman/Kardon Onyx speaker. How do I sync it up with my laptop? I checked fn f8 and my wireless is operational. Harman/Kardon speakers humming. When I plug in the H/K transformer there is a loud hum in the right speaker. Dell forum member since 2002. Dell Inspiron 15 - 5577 Laptop. Home Built Desktop PC with ASUS ROG Z170, i7 6700K CPU.

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My old HP monitor died, and I purchased a newer model. (EliteDisplay E190i) I have a pair of harman/kardon speakers that easily connected to the old monitor; however, the newer monitor does not have the same connection access. How can I hook up my old speakers to this newer monitor? What kind of cable or adapter do I need? Thanks!

Looks like I need to find a power source for the speakers; or, just get the HP speaker bar that easily connects with this monitor. Thanks for your input!
